I did my part over the years. I paid for my premium membership and gifted more lifetime memberships that I can even remember.
I have been polite and respectful almost all of the time.
When Xanga announced their "revamp" or shutdown they graciously agreed to give everyone access to their archives. They even implemented a wordpress archive.
Sadly it doesn't work for everyone and they have chosen not to respond. All you have to do is read the comments.

I've got an archive of my blogs, always have so I'm not really out anything, but would like the zip file of pictures because that's just darn convenient!
Frustrating.
I guess for the most part it's more than I could have expected. Most companies close their doors without warning. Xanga was kind enough to warn everyone.
They've rallied a group together to try and fund raise, and that's pretty cool. It's nice to see that sense of community even if I don't want to participate.
Okay, done now.
Come hang out with me occasionally, k?
