  • Your photos are really nice.

  • Do you have a wordpress tracy? I'm thinking of heading over there. Blogspot doesn't work on my computer! So frustrating.

  • I was going to ask you the same. I tried  wordpress today the site tools are awkward but doable, it works and it's capable of adding a sub, It might be through the email though not sure, I subscribed to a felow xangan transplant. Blogspot is good too is it able to subscribe?  I'm not a 24-7 blog person but I like visiting people once in awhile. http://wematterphotos.wordpress.com/ just trying it not sure if i'm keeping it.

  • @wematter - @isitreal_no - I tried wordpress for business site and frankly it was way more work than I wanted to try and figure it out. I was very frustrated. Have you tried the blogger.com direct link instead of blogspot?

I think I'm going to stick with BlogSpot and just try working out the bugs to make it work the way I want. The biggest advantage to it for me is the attachment to Google+. That way people who aren't bloggers and don't have a blogger.com account can comment or get notifications through their gmail account.I can't figure out how to add a subscribe link to my blogger site. It use to have one which leads me to believe they actually changed it. But, when you are logged into your own blogger site it has a function to add other peoples site via URL regardless of where their site is. So I can see Xanga sites, livejournal, or wordpress. I think it'll be good to be able to keep in touch with xanga people who wander to other sites that way as I'm sure not everyone is going to go to the same place.

  • I'll revisit both Blog sites.

  • Funny I had a blog spot site a few years ago I can't remember much about it but I am unable to open blogger.com. O well.

  • @wematter - well, wherever you end up, please tell me where so I can keep you!

  • I'm trying to set one up but having no luck.  How do you get an address to put in?  This seems confusing to me.  And I don't want my name known on it.  I like the privacy of Xanga.

  • @GrannyHappyNanny - the privacy thing is going to be an issue for most everyone I would think, especially if they always have Google account. It will be constantly trying to sync up. When I get a few minutes I think I'll try to set up a new private account to see if it can be done.

You might like livejournal a lot more.

  • @GrannyHappyNanny - @wematter - @isitreal_no -

I went and tried it and I see what you are talking about GHN. When you go to blogger.com or blogspot.com it will direct you to a google sign in. Google now owns Blogger/Blogspot. If you wanted to remain private you could create a new gmail account in your alias name and then create a blogger account. I think.

  • I can see your blogger post on tweaking the layout on wordpress since I added your site, but was unable to post a comment. I tried twice...how does that work?

  • Hmm.  How frustrating. It still will not let me blog as I need an address and I don't know what to put in there.  How do you get the address under the title for the new blog?
