Cleaning out pictures.
This is a picture that I took of the picture that was displayed by the screensaver on my husbands monitor. Doesn't it look fake? Like I'm in front of some sort of backdrop? What an amazing beautiful place.
My amsonia is blooming early. I think that's a sign for a hot dry summer.
One picture shows the blue of the flowers but the others makes the flowers look white.

Beautiful pictures all! Where was that place in the first picture?
@Ampbreia - It is a dam in California, along highway 1. I'm sorry, I can't remember the name suddenly. It was really beautiful.
These are all awesome pictures
That does look fake! How cool
I will have to look up amsonia on Wikipedia.
@Inciteful - It is a pretty flower and belonging to the Dogbane family (where they thought it could repel dogs). The family mostly has a white milky sap and some of its relatives produce a sort of inferior latex or rubber.I am not surprised that Tracy does not know the plant species but just the genus. It is a five lobed flower (sort of fused tubular flower with five points like a star.)Withing the huge Dog bane family is Plumeria, Vinca and Oleander.
No the first photo does not look fake and it looks like a very relaxing, peaceful spot. Your amsonia is pretty and we have gold finch, bumble bees and lady bugs here already and they do not usually show up til August.Hope you have a good week end this Memorial day week end.
@Inciteful - I live in a neighborhood filled with gardeners. People who know everything about flowers. I'm not a gardener and the closest I get to it is pointing out to my husband where I wish he would add something. I wanted something different in my front yard that no one else had. I really love the Amsonia because it's beautiful from spring to early winter and it's unique. http://www.directgardening.com/detail.asp?ProductID=7443
@Grannys_Place - I hope it's a peaceful relaxing weekend for you as well.
Pretty!
I wish I was in a peaceful place like that right now!! That is a very pretty flower! Don't think I've seen it before.Thank you for the congrats. Others say this may be what he needs to "grow up and take care of his family". Well if 3 children hasn't done it, why would number 4? I hope they are right though!! If not they will all be moving in with us and I don't think we could take that! :/
Those are beautiful little flowers. Are they fragrant?
@pinkmojomama - Not that I can smell, but the bees sure like them. And we're forever finding praying mantis' there. I love the leaves, they're so unique.
I love the top picture! The flowers are lovely. Anything that makes bees happy is a good thing!
Nice pics. That first one looks like something from an infomercial or an ad for some outdoor spa.
I was getting bore since morning but as soon as I got this link & reached at this blog, I turned into fresh and also joyful too.http://www.dirt-busters.co.uk
