Just Tuesday
While waiting for my appointment with my orthopedist
(this must be old, he is so much better looking now!)
I saw a magazine I had never seen before.
http://www.naturalhealthmag.com
It was a nice little magazine. I like their advice section because it gives answers from three different kinds of experts:

I have lost five (ish) pounds since my husband left for China.
I am EXHAUSTED! I think losing weight could be a full time job. I've been using my fitbit and hitting the 10,000 steps a day. It's really hard. It takes, 20 minutes of bycycling, 20 minutes on the gazelle, a normal day of walking and then another 20 minutes or so on the treadmill to get to the actual 10,000 mark. On top of that three yoga sessions a week which don't count at all towards your steps because you're too still in yoga even though it can be a great workout!
But seriously, I am tired! My legs are tired. Hopefully I'm building up lots of strength so by next week or month or year, I won't be so tired just doing an hour of exercise a day. I don't know how people who work in very physical jobs do it.

Eating a new (for me) apple. Lady Anne. Very boring apple. No apple flavor.

Didn't bring any lunch to work. I have tons of breakfasty type of food but nothing that sounds very good. I am hopelessly addicted to raw nuts. I have to portion them out so I don't get sick.

Wow I didn't think it would be so hard to get to 10,000 steps!
@isitreal_no - maybe it's because my legs are short
Mary has to ration out my nuts. I'm a nut for nuts.
Tired legs can make you feel like you're soooo out of shape. Or like you're really doing something to get in it. The good hurt right? lol Walking up the hill to the grandparents in the snow has gotten easier, but still annoys me when it bothers my legs.
Congrats on the weight loss/Yesterday when I was at the spine surgeon with Grandpa, there were piles of this newspaper, "In Giood Health-CNY's Healthcare Newspaper" In it, a big article about how a special diet, marijuana and something called body rolling cured this guys arthritis ( at least his symptoms) He does some you tube videos about the body rolling. I brought the paper home to look that up. my husband suffers from it.I also brought it home because the main article was about meetup com!! Had never heard of that until you mentioned it and now twice in a couple of days! This article was about an aspergers syndrome group. Pretty ool.
@Inciteful - I ended up eating todays portion for a late night snack last night.
I am going to go without today I think.
Are your tired legs from the 10,000 steps or could one of your meds be affecting it. I had a med one time - I think for B/P that caused my legs to be very heavy. I was in reasonably good shape at the time and going up steps - like basement steps, I would have to stop at the top because my legs were tired...It was a really strange phenom. I'm so impressed with your healthiness.
I'm so taken with Corey's pictures!!!!!
@Ninasusan - I dunno..I think I'm just old.
I finally just went and looked at all of Coreys pictures. (as I'm sure you figured out Very cool!
Nice job on the weight loss. It's rare that I don't have one set of muscles or more sore at the same time from weight lifting or exercising. Let's you know you're doing something, I suppose.
@pinkmojomama - Thanks. I lost 35 pounds two years ago and then got stuck so these five are a nice thing to see.
Very good going on the weight loss. I lost 65 pounds after my first heart attack at age 40 and kept it off--thanks to God.
You will feel so much better when this is over, and it is hard work and tiring.

I am the same way with raw nuts I have to portion them out and I even put what day to eat them tag Jeff laughs at me
That sounds like a bunch of working out! It is crazy how something so good for you can make you feel completely drained!
