  • Coreys Pictures from China

My husband emailed me pictures from his current city in China so I thought I would share them with you. He can't always access US sites from his internet connection so he will send them to me. :)

The hotel room is the one they moved him to a couple of days ago after his traveling companion woke up to find a rat eating his head.

  • Nice pics. I'm glad he has a view, when I see pics of China i expect to see smog so thick you can't see. hope the good air holds out for him while he's there. The hotel looks pretty nice. love the skype pic of you :D

  • @strawberryfieldsgirl - Most of his china pictures are filled with smog! :) I laughed at the skype pic because it's also got him, with his camera taking a picture.

  • Such pretty colors and baskets hanging from the ceiling! I love all the colors in those pictures!

  • Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love seeing them.

Erik recently got it into his head that he wants to go to China. I do not want him to go and he has put it off (he is going to Seattle and Vancouver instead). I mentioned the rat story to him. Yuck! I hope the new hotel is very nice and rat-free.

  • @Jst4e - I loved the pictures of the fruit/veg store. I hope he bought lots.

  • @skanickadee - I won't tell him about the girls then. :) Some of these cities get so few visitors that when they see a non-Chinese man they get so excited! Lots of giggling, lots of pictures. This is still the same hotel but they moved him up to the top floor. He's moving to a new city soon. He is hopefully finally going to get to see the Great Wall. He will be in Tianjin.

  • The hotel room reminds me of "Johnny got His Gun".

  • @tracy - Can he get through customes?

  • @Jst4e - Not with the fruit no. I just wanted him to buy & eat it! He lives on pringles when he's in china.

  • @tracy - haha!  I told him. He said he heard about that. He spent a lot of time reading about China. Wow - the Great Wall. Very cool!

I could understand eating Pringles over there. Sorry! The market does look very cool. I wonder what that long stuff is???

  • @skanickadee - I think it's bamboo. This trip Corey is traveling with a good looking Australian guy. All the girls are very excited. :) Of course he's the one who's missing a chunk of scalp now.
